NORTH CORNWALL
MYSTICAL, MAGICAL BEAUTY AND SUPERB BEACHES

That's according to the well respected Lonely Planet travel guides' Bluelist where Cornwall made it as must see destination. Cornwall is highlighted for its spectacular coastline and quaint fishing villages. The book also says that the granite tors of Bodmin Moor account for much of Cornwall's allure and there's no doubting the enduring attraction of its mythological connections, all of which can be attributed to North Cornwall.

Somewhere hidden in North Cornwall's stunning landscape is the perfect place for an unforgettable Cornish holiday. Will it be in spring, when the coastpath is lined with sea thrift? Or autumn, with the wooded river valleys cloaked in crimson and gold? Maybe you're looking for a cliff top hotel or a quayside guest-house, a cosy farm cottage or a cheerful seaside caravan. Perhaps for you it's a surfers paradise or a sailors fancy, a fisherman's dream or a golfers delight - or then again maybe you just want quiet rockpools and golden sands.

North Cornwall is now within easy reach of the rest of Britain through dramatically improved motorway and road links. The A30 is dual carriageway from the M5 to Bodmin, with fast roads connecting to Bude, Camelford, Wadebridge and Padstow. Or opt for the A39 Atlantic Highway to Bude which you can join from Junction 27 on the M5. Why not fly-drive North Cornwall. Newquay Cornwall airport has several airlines offering low fares from regional airports including Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Dublin, Cork and Bristol. There are also four times daily services to London Gatwick and Luton.

Whether it's a short break or longer, North Cornwall offers only quality graded Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts, Guesthouses, Self Catering and Caravan and Camping parks. North Cornwall also has quality attractions and plenty of activities and events to keep you amused. There are stunning Country Houses, Medieval Castles and many areas to explore including Bude Crackington Haven, Boscastle, King Arthurs Tintagel and Port Isaac, all hidden in the most spectacular cliffs in Cornwall. Visit the Market towns of Camelford and Wadebridge and the pretty working port of Padstow. Inland there's the muted fury of Bodmin Moor and the Historic Towns of Bodmin and Launceston.
